A 3D Reconstruction: Unidirectional Migration of Nuclei Between Meiocytes at Zygotene of Tobacco

Based on 303 serial images, the visualization reveals a striking unidirectional migration of nuclei between cells. Individual nuclei involved in inter-nuclear migration (INM) are color-coded in yellow, purple, and red. Cell walls are shown in turquoise, with labels appearing on every 50th slice. Observe the dynamic cellular processes that occur during this critical phase of meiosis.
