This video provides a comprehensive demonstration of essential plant physiology equipment, conducted for students and researchers at the University of Guam. We'll walk you through the practical setup and operation of three powerful tools used in environmental and plant science research.


We begin with the simple yet effective Konica Minolta SPAD Meter for quick, non-destructive measurements of leaf chlorophyll content. Next, we demonstrate the LI-COR LI-180 Spectrometer, explaining its role in capturing and analyzing light spectra, a critical step for understanding light-plant interactions. Finally, we delve into the LI-COR LI-6800 Portable Photosynthesis System, showcasing how it accurately measures key parameters like photosynthesis, transpiration, and stomatal conductance.
